Wow, I wish there were more videos like that. I mean, no disrespect towards other videos out there, they are filming and editing etc shred, to show shred, but I really enjoyed seeing the documentary style for a change.

Awesome, can't wait to see the rest of your stuff you mentioned.

This video is tight! Ryan Mulroney was always my favorite player. I love his explosiveness. It probably comes from having soccer legs. Maybe it was just natural. But I know his style influenced many of the great shredders today.
Thanks to Ryan for shredding. Thanks to Eli for finally releasing this!!!

Great video - I've been saying this a lot lately, but I smelled dvd quality in that. Anyways. I really do miss Mulroney and all his glorious fast paced shred. The editing in your video was superb, I'm not going to go into it any further than that, everything just went very well together. I really enjoyed the interview at the end. I enjoyed how there was no real sugar coating to it and he told how he felt, that's how it should always be.

Thanks Mr. Blitz, you - the - man.

Great work as usual Ellis. Nice to see some of that Eutopia stuff finally out there. Classic Mulroney, attitude and all. Yeah, he had attitude; he chose not to really enter the scene outside of competition. Footbag for him was a competition but he was one of the greatest and it's fun to watch this stuff. Just as fun though is to watch a new Ellis Piltz production. Keep em coming.

thanks to everyone who posted since my last post. Lots of awesome comments. So my editing is "so street!" Haha, that's hilarious. Thanks. Always an honor to be complimented by the Executioner. Howdy! big ups to all my other homies as well.

Let's see, only one question to answer I think, from Sam. All footage was shot with my PD100.

Y'all check out the Ales Special and let me know what you think.

Great video Eli. The editting was really good. I like how the video and the audio matched up a lot. I always enjoy watching Ryan Mulroney shred. He was one of my heros, at least until he left the US and hid himself away from everyone. I am sure he has his reasons but to see your hero beat in Worlds and then run and hide is a bit disappointing. I always thought he would stick around, shred hard, help push the sport forward, improve himself and those around him. Perhaps he is only concerned about himself and prefers it that way. For me, I would love for him to come back home and get back in the US scene.

I met Mulroney once at Funtastiks, 2002. He seemed like a really cool guy. Hearing him speak on this video really changed my opinion of him. He has shown himself to be very bitter. I hope he reads our posts about him and recognizes that a lot of people still admire him and look up to him, as I still do.

Ryan, take it from Matt Cross, "Footbag is fun."

Peace.

I can see where he is coming from on the "the" part on the interview. Who else hates getting lists like this?

Aleksandr wrote:"the" moves in this video:

Every surging move

first flurry

whirr

gyro barrage bsos

blurrage

paradon

half the whirl moves

half the pdx illusions

Good style but should work on getting things clean.

Also I agree about Vasek's froggy spins - I have heard lots of people comment on this and also Takumi's are also very froggy. The surging sets are worse than the spins though.

and I see why he hates the "he hit this you hit that" thing. I think Jim got annoyed with my asking him to hit this one trick because Vasek hit almost the same thing.

I hadn't played Footbag or looked at a footbag website for two months. Then I noticed Ryan Mulroney in the RSS feed on my Google home page and decided to check it out. I downloaded the video and has amazed at how great it was. Eli, this video made me lace up the lavers. Your Ales specail will keep me lacing them up for a while.

I think I liked Ales one a lot more because of the interview. I don't much like Ryan's attitude towards the sport. But Ales' attitude seems to be exactly what mine is.

Thank you Blitz for putting these out. Look forward to more.

I recently got a flashdrive, which means I've been downloading vids like crazy and watching more too.

This was one of the first vids I went out and got, and I keep it on my flashdrive so I can watch it wherever and show it to people who are interested in footbag. I've watched it a ton in the last week.

I really think this vid does a great job of capturing the excitement of footbag and making it look as cool as it feels. Good music, fresh angles, and the shred is entertaining even though its 3.5 years old.

I think my favorite part was the string that was filmed from across the street, where cars and bikes zip by, and after the final van goes by Mulroney disappears. Very very cool.

I also liked the interview too. I didn't think he was very bitter in it at all, but I did get that impression at Worlds 03. I can kind of understand where he's coming from on a lot of issues, but it can be hard to grasp if you weren't around back then. There's a lot of context missing for the new viewers.

Anyway, mostly just wanted to give serious props to Eli for this, cause I really really enjoyed it. We need more professionally produced vids (Landes vs. Gorillaz comes to mind) to really properly showcase our awesome sport.
