this is bullshit. ...and it's unrelated for me to discus it right now. PM if you weren't just talking shit to see how it sounded.

...Vote Green Party!!

Do you have that in the states?
Yeah we do. They get about 1-2% of the vote. I voted for Ralph Nader in 2000 who was the Green Party candidate running for President.

We need an election thread over in Discussion.

I still suspect the worst things America faces, will be foisted on us by both parties.

Yes but it's kind of like the majority of independents: you're just tossing your vote in the garbage.

And to those who were saying that voting Democrat simply because you dislike Bush/Republicans is IMO a very valid reason for voting Democrat and it is what I did this year. Bush sickens me and part of that is because with an entirely Republican House/Senate/Supreme Court he has had FAR too much leniency to do what he pleases. Knowing that with a Democrat controlled House/Senate his issues will actually be dabated instead of thoughtlessly pushed into our lawbooks makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. Disagree if you wish but that's how I feel.

That opinion is also fairly easy for me to keep as Baldacci (D-ME) isn't too bad a guy dispite his Dirigo health plan *shudder* and I agree with his positions on most things.
