I don't think I generalised - I'm sorry it came off like that - what I was trying to say is that not all muslims - infact by all reports the majority of muslims - don't believe in violence. Just like not all christians believe it's ok to tie a black man to the back of ute and drive around until he dies.

How so? The terrorist's of today are just doing what their Koran says to do. To kill the infidels. Books of verse written thousands of years ago aren't good things to base your entire morality on. Torah, Bible, Qu'ran it makes no differance; if you read them literally you're bound to have quite a few fucked up principals.

The Koran was written by the same God that sent his son to the westerners. The lessons are the same in the Koran as in the Bible. God does not teach different people different lessons. Look at the different views between Anglicans and The KKK. They both belong to the same religion and believe the same book.
Islaam is exactly the same. Calling yourself a Muslim doesn't mean you believe the exact same thing as every Muslim - infact that's very unlikely. It's just that you have some kind of religious views that are connected with the Koran and you identify personally with what you believe the teachings of Islam are.
Regarding my quote. I don't believe in Christianity - I was simply quoteing from a racist christian site. I can go find the link if you like - or can do a search for KKK or something like that and find it for yourself. They may have a really good arguement for why they think that that quote is supporting racism. I don't know! As I said - my point was that different people can have completely different views on the same text and still belong to the same religion.

Jehovah sent a son preaching a message of forgivness of sins, love, and a relationship with God the father through Jesus' death with the Holy Spirit.
Muhammad came and started the islam faith by choosing a god; Allah, the moon god. He didnt die on the cross. The two books do not coincide and show two completely different god's. The overall look and the scriptures may be similar but if you actually read the both side by side they are two completely different god's.
The bible promises an everlasting life to all, if you except his gift, with a father who loves you and hands his inheritance to you so that you can reign with him.
The Koran promises nothing to women at all. It promises you no eternal reward but many virgins and alcohol. The bible commands not to commit fornication, adultery or drunkenness.
The bible speaks of women as precious jewels and relates our relationship to the father through a man and a woman who are deeply in love, whereas the Koran tell you to beat your wife in certain scenarios.
I have a question but feel free to comment on my above statements first.
If the radical muslims are just radicals and the Islam faith is really one of peace and love then where are all of them getting the idea to terrorize? Especially one of the most well known muslims of today Osama.
