Portland Juggling Festival Footbag Jam (Sept. 24th-25th)

Post by redshredz »

Hey all,
I did not think we were doing anymore events until next year, but what do you know, here comes event number 4. We are having a jam at the Portland Juggling Festival on Saturday and Sunday of this month, (Sept. 24th and 25th). A footbag booth will be set up, net will be present, workshops will be in the house, and an on stage demo/performance. On top of that, there will be a lot of intense juggling. Check it out! Eugene, Olympia, and Seattle should definitely make this, as well as Nampa. Come on out and meet the new Sole Purpose Freestyle Team, and kick with Kenny Shults!
Crash space at the Redster's pad, Noah's as well I am sure.
Here is the link to the event:

Hope to see you all there

Not sure if nate and I can stay both days. I might have to work on sunday, but hopefully we can hit up both. Saturday fo sho though! I'm gonna try to get ahold of jamie and see if she wants to go. We've been playing phone tag and I guess she is getting back into freestyle.

Should be fun!

Sorry guys, I will have to sit this one out. If I had two more weeks to think about it I would inevitably say yes, but I've got too much stuff on my plate right now that I need to deal with. Have fun everyone!

Just got the time off of work, only bad news is that my best friend's birthday is on the same day, so I'll be leaving early , but' it's all good cuz I know that I'll be ready to shred by then!

Hey,
It's confirmed, Eugene, Seattle and Olympia will be in the house. All are welcome to crash at my pad. Noah again will probably be down to put people up as well. I am psyched all the surrounding groups are coming out. That combined with the Sole Purpose Freestyle Team and foobag group, attendence should be good. Contact me with any questions. Here is the directions page off the official site. See everyone in a few days.

Hey
Thanx to everyone for coming out. Jim and Daryl were the surprise, pleasant I might add. Best story from the weekend, Saturday night, second session, everyone's been partying, a bunch of guys go out for another shred session. Jim included. Everyone is still warming up, Ricky says something to Jim along the lines of "you can't hit 5 fives this early". Jim proceeded to hit 10 cold, not more than ten minutes after they started playing.
Anyway, great shred from everyone. Thanks again for making the trek. See you in Seattle.

I have to say tight jam again to Red. This one was very large for such short notice. Red deserves much respect for what he does for this sport. Mad props go out to him!

Noah was a blast to hang with again and we had a lot of fun outside of shred. Jim was going off the whole time of course. Crazy links, crazy long runs, and crazy freakin whirling swirls and symp whirling swirls. You'd have to be there to appreciate that stuff... insane!

Got to meet Kenny Shults for the first time, what a nice guy! And he hit many huge things in front of me, he is definitely great at footbag.

Justin Dale impressed me most of all, he was very consistent and hit very long runs with great variety. I really like the direction his game has taken, super smooth style and precise play. Props justin!

Ricky showed up with a broken hand?? And of course shredded it up, that guy is still going strong... he is ricky moran after all.

Nate got his ass handed to him at pool with Noah.... although I guess we are all winners because we each won with him... haha

What a successful weekend, one of my best times ever. Thanks all!
