Anyone know if they are working on a new cd anytime in the future (near or far)?

Not really digging Death Cab, too emo-ish for me... And not good emo like The Get Up Kids (old stuff), but shitty emo like TBS.

As for the other band, do they use beats and prograaming or do they use traditional insturments?

they use interments... but just look for indie and indie pop for stuff that sounds like them

The Postal Service is essentially Death Cab... same singer, just minus the band and with samples instead. I used to listen to it, until I realised it was pretty much all the same.

I don't really like Deathcab too much, either. I wouldn't say they're the same at all -- the music is so different.

That girl who sings with Postal Service, has her own band called Rilo Kiley, but DAMN IS SHE A GOOD SINGER!!!! She should just take over The Postal Serivce...

If you like the postal service you would probably like the Notwist. Their latest album "Neon Golden" has a very similar sound to "Give Up" but as a whole I think it is a way better album, which says a lot because I liked Give Up a lot. Shrink is another good album by them, but try Neon Golden first.

Also "Dntel" is really good. It's pretty much all instumental, semi-IDMish stuff. It's the same guy who makes all the beats for the postal service i think. Dntel has one song called "(This Is) The Dream Of Evan And Chan" (I always think of Erik Chan when i read that title) that is basically a postal service song sing Ben Gibbard from DCFC sings the lyrics.

Also try Mum and Lali Puna. Not that similar to the postal service, but people who like the postal service seem to always also like these bands a lot too.

Yeah, "The Dream of Evan and Chan" on Dntel's "Life is Full of Possiblities" is where Jimmy and Ben first collaborated. I would probably say that is their best song.

I put two postal service songs on my newest movie, check videos in a day or so kamil(quadgun) should be posting it, cause im cool like that.
