smoking weed/hash and footbag

Same sort of question only... weed/hash smoking instead of cigarettes. I don't think there's much of a difference when I play after I've been blazing, except maybe that I sweat a little bit more. Any thoughts/opinions on this? I've been thinking about quitting... well, I've been TRYING.. but so far I've only thought about it.

Anyone notice a difference when they quit? endurance, speed, or otherwise?

I think it's a legitimate question.. how is it any different than asking if cigarettes affect your game? I'm not glorifying it or anything...

For those of you that don't already know, Yerba Mate is a powerful South American tea that helps fight the lazies. This green tea always get me hyped up for a shred session. I don't think this question is black and white as it seems. The answer here is probably something more personalized. I personally don't think I could ever be the best at footbag and smoke. Vasek on the other hand is the best, and............hella yeah. Soooooo its all about your own moderation, i think.

There is a myth put out by most governments that "drugs" are bad. Marijuana is a "drug" so its bad, nobody can do extraordinary feats of the body, mind, or soul while on bad drugs.
The truth is MJ isnt all bad, you could look at some mj forums online and see through the lines that there is a large group of mj smokers who are among the most talented and best people around.
And btw even if Vasek did smoke alot that would be no reason for you to criticize him.

Well said, Riley. After/if I move into this apartment on Monday, I'm planning on getting myself a kilo of mate and a new gourd...we should have a pre-sesh sesh and then kick some hack.

You can find mate at most herbal shops around you. Just go in and ask for yerba mate and they should help you. I don't think it's sold in most convenience stores.

try some yohimbe about an hour before a session too. You'll get some good results and triple dexes will become much easier

I cant smoke weed and do heavy footbagging, it raises blood pressure too much and makes me get winded easier.

it doesnt really affect my play too much...i learned how to do all the tricks while i was high, so i can do them perfectly fine while i am high. However, sometimes i will get tired much quicker or lose my motivation to keep playing.

My game is fucked when I'm stoned. I tire too quickly and my vision isn't exactly tip-top. For me smoking is a pastime best enjoyed whilst listening to music and playing computer games.

i like to play stoned... but that dosent mean i do well... tricks become harder and i 'the' tricks way more... i defienently sweat more, and tire quicker. never even thought vasek would smoke... awesome...

yeah, I think a lot of what really amazes people about footbag in general is how unbelievable and hardcore it really is

and this case is no exception.

but for me, I'm with bustin justin... weed + footbag = less enjoyable high and less enjoyable shred for me. Now, weed + hackysack... THAT's a different story

ps: the poll says "don't smoke weed if you want to play footbag", but I think it would be more correct if it said, don't smoke weed RIGHT BEFORE you play footbag"... I'd vote for that, but DEFINITELY not how it is, currently. What a different community it would be if everyone subscribed to that belief!
