I have not gotten the official approval yet, but it looks like we'll be going with the Embassy Suites in downtown Denver this year.

Perks include:

- A lower rate of $109/night. This is a full suite, and will include 2 double beds and a pullout couch.
-pool and hot tub are heated and in a dome that's open from 6am-10pm.
-5-7pm complimentary cocktails - Each person staying in the room can have 1 "guest."
-Full complimentary breakfast buffet every morning 7am-10:30am on Sat. and Sun.

The thing with the hotel is that I was waiting for them to call me for the official confirmation/setup so I could give people the go ahead to make their reservations. She called on Friday while I was in school, and left a voice mail. I come home on Friday and try to check my voice mail, and for some reason it just isn't working. I keep trying it all night and nothing works, so I don't get the message.
Of course this morning it magically works again, and I get the message, and she is super apologetic and telling me what I need to do, etc.
But, it's also Saturday and she won't be in again until Monday. My luck.

Open: $40 includes players pack, shred 30 and 1 extra event, + $5 for additional events.

Intermediate: $30,includes players pack, shred 30,and 1 extra event. $5 for additional events.

Playing only: $5 Venue fee if paid in advance (i.e. before they show up at Friday's registration party) or $8 at the door.

There will be a late fee for anybody who does not pre-register... which, by the way, we should have up soon. I need to talk with Mike about it, but he's been pretty busy lately.

edit: Pretty sure, I should say. It looks like me and Chris are going to get in an argument about it.

I'm the old man.

TEASE!

grain of salt folks!

I'll be badgering to get things finalized as fast as possible so everyone can get those tickets and registrations early. Last year's pre-registration was a glory that allowed us to put tons more love into the event.

Wow. Here I am trying to convince Stephen to push for the Weekend of April 8th-9th. Daylight Savings begins on the 2nd of April and I'm just shooting for more Sunshine for the event.
I've never been a big fan of the February "tradition" and I think I'm an older man than Chris (notice my rank) .

I like the new springtime dates because the old dates were during the skiing season peak so the airfare was always inflated. I hope to make it, Ill practice just in case :)
