That's awesome, this is the exact video that got me hooked on freestyle. I didn't understand anything that he was doing, but it looked awesome. I bragged about the video to everyone, telling them how awesome it was. It was the very first video I watched on footbag.org, and I still remember the day me and Brian first meant. A great feeling to meet your inspirations.., and then being able to shred with them.

In 1999, Brian was pretty much considered second only to Mulroney. This was when Mulroney was the unchallenged king of footbag. Chad was good, but 2000 was when Chad made his bid for top 3 in the world, and in 99 Ahren was injured. In 1999, Ryan was the undisputed king, and Bryan was likely #2. In 2000, there was lots of arguing over who was best, but it was probably Ahren or Chad, and then Mulroney.Splint wrote:Without a doubt Brian was on his way to being on of the top 3 shredders in the world .

From the last few times Brain and me talked, Brian has taken quite a bit of time off lately due to injuries and other reason. But I always enjoy it when he shows up to tourneys. He was at the NJ Shred, and he can still bust some huge stuff, Dave can attest to that. He is definitely one of my favorites to be in a circle with, because of his abilities and his awesome attitude. Always funny and always positive, I'm always looking for him at East Coast events, simply because he makes the circle that much better.
Brian and Ryan Mulroney are definitely my top 2 inspirations, and with out them I would definitely not be where I am today.

That link has that video clip and a bunch of others. I thought the dallas footbag site was down. i guess not. i wonder what Derric Scalf is doing.
I remember when Brian came to Midwest 2001. I didn't know he was coming. It was really awesome to see him. He has some intense piercing eyes.
Albany: I was just asking Zeke where Brian was.
