Lets start with a story. There is this really nice and innocent girl at school who I am friends with and have hung out a few times. Now, she likes me and all and told me she wanted to be better friends but wouldn't want to go out. The same day we talked about going to this school event together and she said she would call me at x time. Some of my good guy friends were already talking about going a few days before but wasn’t definite, and they ended up going and I went with them instead. She thought I brushed her off and seemed to avoid me for a few days. Days later we talk about our friendship online and I tried to tell her in a nice way that we’re friends, but not the type of friends that would hang out a lot (the school event was never brought back up). Few more days later, today, she came up to my lunch table and told me if our friendship would go back to the way it was and if we can just forget everything that happened. I told her I don’t see our friendship any different because I don’t think it is. Now, the 2 other guys at my lunch table think I am the biggest dick ever for putting her down like that. She did seem really put down but I had no intentions of doing so.
Basically, recently I’ve been tired of “lying” to people and being fake so I’ve been going with the more honest approach which makes me feel a lot better - within limitations of course. I honestly don’t have many regrets for what I did although she did take it very harshly and wish that she didn’t.
I just thought that this may be an interesting topic to discuss with different people’s approaches, experience, and opinions.
Fakeness...
I'm trying to understand... I think she needs to get laid.

Started with sparse low lines, built intensity with rythmic variety, went to 16th note lines in high register, than went to octives, than block chords for my last chorus... If you understood that last sentance than you should be playing music and not checking the internet.

Actually, I've been thinking about this too. Not so much in the friendship area but picking up women. It's hard to be honest with girls manBander87 wrote:Basically, recently I’ve been tired of “lying” to people and being fake so I’ve been going with the more honest approach which makes me feel a lot better - within limitations of course.
