shoes smell.....BAD!

Post by jbalexdarkelf »

My shred shoes smell. I mean they are rank. I have used like 3/4 bottle of shoe deoderizer, and like a half bottle of febreeze on these things and it still smells horrible. How do I get this stink out so I can shred with out almost puking.

Thanks,
John

Dude, stick them in the washer and dryer with a few towels. It works for a few days before you have to do it again. Do you play without socks? I used to do this but everyone in our club was complaining about how bad my shoes smelled, so I now wear socks for their sake.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

Where a different pair of shoes every day. You should give them a full 24 resting period for the bacteria to become un-nasty before stickin those sweat sponges you call feet back in em!

Combination of all of the above is what I'd recommend..minus the bleaching method (Wouldn't that completely mess up the color of your shoes?)

Anyways..wash them once, NOW. Then, let them air-dry, out of the sun. Put some Gold Bond foot powder in them, and shred. Take them off..put more Gold Bond in them, and let them sit.

Always use a fresh pair of socks. Repeat as needed. With Gold Bond backing you, after a nice wash in cold water, I'd be surprised if you still had a big problem.

My mom complains about my feet stinking after school but its nothing compared to what my shoes smelt like, I mean my shoes were smelling like cat spray and popcorn, and sour milk, seeing how all of these together could easily clear out a room, which until the deoderizer and freebreeze they did but, after them bieng thrown away, its not a problem.

You know, I find that Axe: Phoenix does wonders for stinky feet. Not sure if that helps any, but hey, I'd use it on my smelly shoes than on my stinking pits. :/

I shred with no socks, and it ends up stinking after a couple of sessions.. So I put some perfum in them, and it covers the smell
I did say COVER, it does'nt get rid of it, but cancels it :D

get spenco insoles , preferably the crosstrainer ones - extra support
and cushioning + and sweat absorbing and you can wash em
at 30 celcius in your washing machine .
i wash mine twice a month .

btw : you gotta rip the original adidas sole out, otherwise the shoes
will be to tight .

You have to wash them in the washer with clothes or towels or something. Use a tiny bit of bleach and lots of detergent. And do a double wash. Oh and make sure to take the shoe laces out completely, you'll want to buy new shoelaces($1.50)
