Repairing Holes in a Footbag

I will never forget today. At the beginning of a session I noticed my beautiful 32 panel Abshire bag had a tiny little hole in one of the panels. The first hole..in my first bag.

Perhaps I washed it too vigorously yesterday, or maybe just one too many accidental scuffs (Unlikely because of the rarity of such a happening)...whatever the case may be, I need to patch this suckah.

Couldn't find anything searching, so I'm curious..what's the best kind of glue to use? I hear that using some cotton swab material with glue is the best way to patch a hole..but since I don't want to use the wrong type of glue I thought I'd ask the lovely people at modified.

Steri-Strip Adhesive Skin Closures by 3M.

They are surgical tape and don't come off with washing. They are soft and strudy and feel almost like the facile.

If you go to a fabric store...ask if they have some sort of material sealant...'cause I got this stuff called Liquid-stitch and it works perfectly!

Crazylegs32 uses BARGE CEMENT - it seems to work very very well, better than anything I've ever used or seen used

i was working on a school project and had some rubbertex compound left. i tried a few drops on a bag and it worked very nicely. no more holes.

also known as: liquid latex.

you can also use the sticky part of the bandaid and cut a little square out of it and put it on , pretty much the same as pengs but a alternative if you dont have that 3m stuff , the best way to patch holes

Not to slag your method, but wouldn't the added weight make the bag uneven?

Thanks for all the responses..I never would have thought there to be so many methods.

Fortunately, I found some a bandaid that is very similar to Peng's..which I didn't need to buy, as it was already in my house. It also happens to be made by 3M, but is a Nexcare product (A division of 3M). I just cut a little square of the adhesive part of this waterproof bandage, and stuck it over the hole in my bag.

Though it appears everyone has their own little trick, I endorse this product because it's

Waterproof
Extremely adhesive
Thin (=pliable)

Unfortunately..this first hole is turning out to be the first of many

Upon further inspection I'm noticing what appears to be the beginning of other tiny holes..I guess I'm being too rough with my break-in kneading. Good thing I have all these bandages!
