i bought a Mr. Sandbag about maybe 2 months ago, and when i was kicking it around the other day it bust open in only one spot. At first i was really pissed cuz theyr was no reason for it to happen, but now im kinda happy because the hole isnt big at all, and its a perfect size for adding new filler.
I wanna experiment with this bag and i was wondering what kind of filler i should add to my mr.? Also, should i drain all the sand out of it and add in the filler, or should i keep the sand in it with whatever i add? I was thinking about using metal bbs about the size of what is in my abshire and keeping the sand in it as of now, but i want all of your opinions on what would be the best for freestyle.
I dont really care how its gonna kick as long as it kicks without going everywhere. I basically want it to be kickable, but have the same quality as most 32's when it comes to sets and delays. Help me out with whatever advice you have.
Sand really does work best for them. Any hard metal weights seem to tear em up. Not to mention, Mr's really don't have the same quality for sets as 32's.
I had a mr. bust on me, so I put some metal bb's in there (really small ones) and left the sand... stitched/glued it up and voila.. better than before.
i don't know, the ones richie uses, he sent me some extra fill... I think it's lead, maybe number 7 or 8, I think that is the most popular size. it's only about 1-1.5 mm diameter.
