defective fabric???

ok, ive made a few bags that have a yellow color(facile) in the combo. one of which i gave to my friend. He plays about 30min to an hour a day and 5 days a week. (this is approx.) Within a month, his bag got so holey on the yellow facile that all the filler came out of the bag. ive recently made another one (with yellow) and its getting holes again. the only factor that i can think of that would mybe give it holes is:it gets really dirty with mud an dirt where we play, though after every dirty session we wash it. but i dont think this is it. could i have defective pilling fabric?

is it tulip?
it's alright if u use relatively similar fabrics.. if it's combined w/ particularly stronger fabrics all the stress is going to get taken out on the weaker fabric

is there some of the facile colors i should watch out for (as far as being weak or defective) when buying from fieldsfabrics.com? i will get some relatively soon, like a month or so... dont want to make a bag that will end up like cheese.
