July in Germany... crash space?

Post by mc »

Hey Germans,

I just found some INCREDIBLY cheap flights to germany, and I'd like to make a month out of my trip, like I did last year. It costs the same to fly to Berlin or Frankfurt, so I could go to either places.

I'm curious about a few things... One, are these cities close, or is there cheap transit from one to the other? If it's an epic voyage from berlin to frankfurt, I might just want to start out in frankfurt, but I know so many players of the berlin crew that it would be great if I could spend my non-competition time there. So really, what I'm asking is,

are there any Berlin players that feel like putting me up in July before and after worlds? I think it would be fun to come for all of July. If there's no space for crashing, I'm sure some of you guys know a good hostel. Anyway, i just wanted to start my planning now.

I can't wait. Looks like I'll be seeing you guys this summer!!!!!!!! :D

If it's an epic voyage from berlin to frankfurt,
epic journey? dude, I'm pretty sure all of europe could fit into the city limits of rochester. it's only like, fifty miles from paris to the baltic sea, right? I figure you could probably walk from berlin to frankfurt in an afternoon...

wow.. I wish this wasn't ironic. It would be truely funny if it was meant seriously...

Matt, you are definitely welcome in Berlin! Don't worry about crash space, unless it's for a month ;) .. othwerwise Yves and Jakob are good hosts, ask Dylan or anybody else who stayed there... if I have my own flat by then you could just as well stay at my place...

We'll go to Frankfurt by train or car, either way it's gonna be between 20-60 euros.

So see this summer in Berlin!

Where did you see your flight deal? I saw a deal for 300 from new york to a few places in europe but the last day the return tickets are available is the day before worlds.
