I guess I've heard this move describes as a wauxspin as well? but what I'm talking about is like this

clipper set, and the bag falls behind the setting foot, and you catch it on your toe, and rake it through.

how many adds is this?

where does a rake end and a wauxspin begin?

wauxpin has a butterfly occurring in front of what you've described.

Also, what you've described doesn't have a reverse swirl, but it has a reverse swirl feel to it. This move you're describing is more of a "gyro toe" style rake. If there was a reverse swirl, you'd have to get your foot back under the bag and THEN do what you've described, which is REALLY hard. I've come close to it a few times, but never hit it. I guess Cameron Kennedy has hit it.

so, yeah, to do wauxpin, it feels like a butterfly reverse swirl that you bail to the toe of the "reverse swirling" foot before the reverse swirl completes.

I should just make a tutorial video, wauxpin is so hard to explain...

I believe, and I might be alone in this, that wauxpin ends on a clean toe stall and not a rake.

Chad is really good at this move, and ends it with no raking forward motion at all when he performs the move.

I'd say it's either one add, or it's three adds.

The amount of adds you receive is directly related to how clean you make the trick.

James has got it. An analogy that I find useful is wauxpin:butterfly rake::jughandle:drifter rake.

The key to a clean wauxpin is to make sure that the bag is coming from the outside of your foot when it lands on your toe.

There is NO rake in wauxspin just a lot of spinning from the hips.

during warm up led me to hitting my first wauxpin -
it came completly out of the blue and the feeling was so sweet and so crazy.
