Are you a dork?

Post by Senor Grommet »

Is modified a place where social outcasts and people with little to no social lives hang out for friendship? At school are you part of the disrespected majority or part of the elite minority? Do we have any ASB class officers up in this piece?

Answer this poll question: Are you a modified member AND a dork or a modified member and a pretty cool person?

On the other hand, I'm a dork, because I've tried playing footbag and harmonica at the same time.

I'll bet you thought that you were the first person to do that. You're mistaken.

ohh, man. i've always been a basement dweller and come off pretty mysterious. i'm really really outgoing with people i know well, but it takes me a while to warm up to people. i'm not a social person by any means, i only call about 4 people if i want to go out and do something. i'm gonna have to vote dork, but i don't think it describes me very well.

Although I voted cool, so we're all 1/3 cool and 2/3 dork now.

I want to qualify myself as cool by the massive number of friends I have, and all the parties and clubs I go to, but any mention of all that sounds like bragging.

Which is uncool. :?

I am a total Dork.
I can count my 'real' friends on one hand.
I spend more time in front of the computer than I do socializing.
I drink alone.
Comment in the BCS blog if you feel the need to.

I'm totally a dork, but I have friends and a girlfriend.

I think because I accept my own dorkiness that other people accept me.

Maybe I'm a social dork.

Well, I'd like to think of myself as cool, but I guess it all depend who is judging me. I like to do all sorts of stuff that could be considered dorky to kick ass - so I guess I can be considered a kick ass dork. *shrug*

I'm a pretty cool person. There's not one day that people want to come at me and hurt/talk to me in some sort of "friendly" show of bonding. There are some ex-girlfriends, though, that I avoid.

Although, there's about 3-4 people that really freestyle and the rest of the majority just like to be circle kickers. Usually I'm the only one that attempts to freestyle, and the rest might see me as a dork in being "serious" when I play.

Hm, I think I can count my real friends on one hand. When I was in school I had a heap of friends from all over the place. I wasn't cool but I wasn't a dork either. I found when I left school I discovered who my real friends were, and that a lot of my 'close' friends at school, I didn't actually like. I'm in the middle of shifting my social life around, this is the real world, not the playground anymore. Terms like 'cool' and 'dork' are also pretty useless in the real world, and the definition of 'cool' really pisses me off :?
