Remove the inner layer of the toe......
I just asked myself if most players do this mod or not?!?
I think its quiet hard to cut it out.Is there a special technique?

Pretty much any player that mods their Lavers is going to mod out the toe area too.
Now, Assuming you've got the mesh lavers you want to get rid of that layer of canvas like stuff underneath it, yes? One thing that may make the whole inside Canvas layer modification thing easier is to soak your lavers in very hot water. This tends to dissolve the glue that binds the two layers together and makes it a lot easier to go. I did mine without any of that and it took me about an hour. Granted, it was my first attempt.
Anyways, number one thing is a sharp cutting utensil. An x-acto knife is more likly than not the best idea. Though be very careful. The aim is to not put holes in that outter mesh layer. Though should you stab through, thats ok. Most people do.. I did 3 times in different areas of my shoes when doing the mod. You can't really see them and they don't run and get bigger so don't let that scare you off.
From here, you want to make sure you modded the side walls so you can get at that toe area. Pull the tounge of the shoe on forward and have a look. You can see where the tongue is stitched to the rest of the shoe. You want to start picked away at that canvas layer a bit under that connection point. I recommend just slowly picking away at the material with the tip of the knife so as not to go through.
After you've got a resonably sized hole in there, you want to get something in between those layers to severate them.. I would recommend maybe the erase end of a pencil or some comparitivly dull object. After you've seperated the layers from one another.. You want to pick away some more at the material all the way down to the toe area as close as you are able to get into it. As far as you can into the toe cutting away that thicker canvas layer.. if you can't totally cut it out. Score it as best you can.
From here, to get the portion I may not have been able to get out of the toe. I opted to grab myself a pair of pilars, grab hold of that thicker canvas layer in peices and yank it out. This resulted in getting probably all of the material in the toe are of my shoe out. Now, it was not easy, it took some doing. But I feel that the mod helps your game a great deal in that you are very able to feel your bag.
I hope this helps some.. It is 4 am and I am ready to sleep. Post any more questions you may have for me in here and I'll check them out in the morning.
Peace my man.

I remember doing this mod like second nature after the wall mesh-removal mod on my first pair. On my second pair I started to but realized that the tongue doesn't pull back enough (maybe a difference between Slovenias and Chinas?) so I tried and cut VERY frustratingly blindly as far and as much as I could. I didn't get all the way to teh tip of the toe, and so I left the big chunk of mesh hanging there. It bulges out a little when I wear the shoes a little, but it still helps quite a bit.
I was actually hoping for more tips from others on how to do this when I saw the thread.

yeah cutting it out is done by most guys.but instead of soaking it in water you can also use a hair dryer(your mom or sister or granny sure has one of those) and make the area you wanna mod real hot.that also loosens the glue.i did this to mine.worked very well.but i guess soaking them is also good.makes am also clean!

What I did after the glue is seperated is use a knife and reeched inside to the very end of the toe and made cuts all around, like an outline. Using plyers helps. The first toe I used sissors and it didn't work well.
(this is my second toe)
The horizontal part, the bottom, you want to cut ALL the way across untill the knife goes off the shoe when you first begin cutting.
Be sure to undo all laces when you start modding to give you more room to move around.

Re: Inner layer at the toe
At 13, I cut it with relatively ease. Though I knicked the mesh, It was visible from the outside.freshONE wrote:Remove the inner layer of the toe......
