Beans in bags?

Right now, in place of plastic pellets since there's no one in the Orlando area that sells them so far, I use mungo beans. That's right, mungo beans. I don't really think I need a pic of one, just a description - they're green and are the exact size of plastic pellets O_o. What I was wondering about them was is it okay to have beans as filler? Because I know when you submerge them in water overnight they actually sprout lol....But it's not like I'm gonna drop my footbags in water for a few hours though....just a few soaks for a bath or somethin'. I'll try cutting open one of my bags after a few weeks and baths, but please give your opinions on whether or not I should have beans in my bags.

Anything that can biodegrade is, as a general rule, a bad idea in a bag.

I can just picture myself washing that bag and leaving it in a window sill to dry and coming back in a few hours to see my ChiaFootbag has a grown it's first bean sprouts.

Lol, so I guess beans are a bad replacement for plastic pellets >.< ....but the only resource of plastic pellets I would have right now is the internet...but me, being one of many teens without an account, can't buy crap off the internet....good thing for money orders O_o.

you could buy shot or pellets in a walmart type store probably. i know i can get those things in hobby lobby. maybe buy some cheap hack from where ever, and open it up for its beads.

Sweet. I've always wanted a Chia Bag. Think about it. When you name it, it's actually a LIVING THING. And talk about a bag with personality! It can actually move by itself!

what i was using for a while that works really good is seeded beads, but they are kinda expensive

they are really small beads with holes in them so you can make a necklace out of them, they work really good for 6 panels especially, that what me and kyle use for our bags

ive been considering getting small pebbles, the size of polypellets, and putting them in an old rock polisher kit i had. Maybe itd make some pretty cool weighted filler, and im sure itd' be pretty round and smooth considering what it could do to the larger rocks i put it it before.
