Star Bag?!
Star Bag?!
I've decided not only to ask who owns a 32 panel starbag, but if anyone can make one for me. If it's at ll possible, made out of normal 32 panel material, and actually samll enough to shred with. I will actually pay an extra $20 USD (total of $50) for a starbag made like this, with two colors (preferable black and red). Please post here or PM me if you'd like to make me a starbag. I'll go with a couple, just so I can find a playable one, but if no one will make me one, I'll have to do it myself. And that bag would NOT be shreddable. Also, if you've owned a starbag made like this, or actually made one that worked for freestlye, please post your reviews here.

I think he means a bag made so that one pent and the 5 hexes around it are stitched like a star, with the same color to show for it.

"Footbag can be pretty frustrating when it's supposed to be fun. I was partly driven by this forum - practice, practice, practice... As that is true, I think someone can be too focused on progressing and training that they miss the fun aspect of it." - Bander87

GREAT COLORS! but I prolly should have said that the pents should have been stars... I saw one that looked HUGE, but I wanted a shreddable one. I was going to PM some stitchers, but I decided to make the post becuase I'd rather have them see it and not be annoyed be my PM's asking if they could do something crazy like that. Or maybe it's really easy, IDK, but all I know is that I love the look of the starbags, but i just can't find any of them anywhere.

I think you mean a 32 panel stitched in the same style as kanga bags, with pentagons and triangles. Look on ebay and they have kangas for 3 for 30. If you need a nice handstitched one like that theres a guy in Denmark named HeinDane that makes them. But they usually dont brak in as nice as the one with pents and hex's.----- I reread your post and I think Im wrong, to make the pents stars is different. I remember a guy? on here from Australia who makes very pretty bags and his original design had a gather that made the pent look like a star, but then he has since changed his gather to more conventional for gameplay sake.

Hania Mickiewicz makes bags with huge pents and small hexes that looks like triangles in a way. I think Lazytowner has a stitching style like that too.

i guess your talking about this one?

as far as i know planetfootbag is the only one offering this design. i developed it way back in the days when i was still stiching. technically i "own" the design, i even have something similar to a patent on it.
but if you can find a sticher who can make you a "pro" bag with this design i'm fine with it. i'd even consider having one for myself made, so if you find someone, don't forget to pm me, please:)

That is indeed what I'm looking for, the awsome starbag. I know what pic you're talking about too, i saw it about a year ago and thought "wow, that's so Sweet!", but didn't think about getting one untill recently. I did a search and found that huge one on planetfootbag, but I really wanted one that I could shred with. Hence the post, and I've found two stitchers willing to do it, so i'll post the results here after I get them and break them in
P.S. A big thanks to the the two who PM'd me about making the bags, I figured the extra money would cover the trouble of making a new pattern and prolly the extra time to stitch it
