Cool. I'm contacting NYFA about this ASAP.

Stephen,

April 4-6? Thats, like, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Not good days for me. I work a pretty ordinary work-week schedule, and I'm about one hour outside of New York City with light traffic. Getting into NYC on a weeknight after work is usually too much trouble.

But some people who actually live IN the city seem to get together on Wednesday nights on a fairly regular basis. I'm not really sure since I have never joined them for those Wednesday sessions. I'm strictly a Weekend Warrior when it comes to NYFA (New York Footbag Association). And then, I haven't even been in on a weekend for a bit too long. Anyway...

You can keep up with NYFA happenings, and make contact with the more active members, by visiting the NYFA web-page (really a Yahoo Group, but you ought to know about those, since you've got one of those set up for the Denver club [though its seldom used]).

http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/nyfootbag/

Sign up, announce yourself, and state your desire to meet and play. Warm weather would be nice, and possible, but fortunately NYFA has regular access to a cool and convenient indoor location, though it doesn't come for free. When split five or six ways its not very expensive for a couple of hours of kicking.

Why won't you be there over a weekend? Theres kind of a lot to see in NYC, its worth a little extra time to take some more of it in.

Maybe I'll see ya, maybe not. Anyway, have a nice visit.

Sorry; the reason for the inconvenient days is that my dad's business spontaneously decided to send him there for the week to upgrade some bank software, and, since I have that week off, he decided to take me with. Those are just the days it happened to be :?
So, since my dad will be working during the day the whole week, I will have those three days, during the day, to do whatever I want, really. I am of course spending some time with old friends who have gone off that way for college, but I would like to have a session at least one of them.

I'll try as you suggested, Jon--thanks. Hopefully we will have a chance to meet up. If not, maybe the summer sometime, or even CSS8 ;)
