Tom or Peng?

I am gonna order a bag from tom or peng but i dont know how to choose...So i need a little bit of help could you post some diffrent patterns and bags of pengs and toms...please this owuld be great...also just post diffrent patterns so i know what i want

Tom cut his thumb and can't stitch right now. If you want a bag any time within the next few weeks, go Peng. Otherwise, on a whole I think Peng bags generally run smaller than Tom bags, and of course the fillers are different.

check out my mosher on new footbags... but i don't know which you should choose, and i thought that their filler was the same?

Filler is the same i jsut want to see what the diffrent patterns are

Actually, our filler is exactly the same. I'm working on a patterns gallery, but I've got finals so it won't be done for awhile. We both do all the patterns in the drop-down menu on the order form. If you read everything, it also allows you to know how many colours to pick for each pattern.

Dada (random)
5-claw
tri-claw
beach-ball (triclaw variation)
spiral
soccerball
rings
bipolar
gobstopper (same colour pents or hexes and various colours)
two-face (half and half soccerball style)
standard 3 colour pattern

and we'll do special requests if you describe it well.

The difference between Tom and my bags are the stitching styles. It gives our respective bags different characteristics - different feel, different look, etc. They both benefit from our combined efforts in finding the perfect filler. Also, Tom's bags tend to be a little heavier than mine at 50+grams whereas my bags tend to be between 40 and 49grams. As stated above, mine are a little smaller than Tom's as well. Tom's is about the size of a golfball and mine a little smaller than a golfball.

Lastly, Tom's finger has healed enough that he's stitching again, just not as quickly. He's got about 4 bags to stitch before any new orders. I also have 4 bags to stitch before any orders. The time difference won't be much different. I have exams and essays to write in the next two weeks.

So... I hope that info helps you make a decision. Otherwise, just flip a coin. They are both good bags.

I'm not sure If I agree about the size thing . . . I recently got two moshers and a peng, and the peng was slightly bigger than both Moshers. I should point out, however that, that Tom played around with my bags a bit and tried something new. One is quite small and I call it a mini mosher, although that name isn't official and I don't now if Tom makes them Regularly.

Either way, my Peng was shreddable sooner due to the larger size and a bit less filler in it. I love all three of them.

Tom and I both sent you things we were trying. My bag was also softer because the colours used were some of the softest in the group, not really the size. It was larger than my normal style.

I flipped a coin that i drew on it had a P on one side and a T on the other ((Becuase im to much of a idiot to think lol)) So yeah it came out P so peng is the stitcher im gonnna choose already filled out my order form

I have played with 2 Mosher and 2 Peng bags. Personially i like Toms bags better.

I'd just like to note that in the past 6 months, Tom and I's bags have been overhauled many, many times. What we are producing now are drastically different from what we were selling in December. The filler, the bag stitching style, the templates have all been changed and improved upon.

Only in the past month or two have we become settled in a particular style that we like enough to continue replicating, but and even then, we are making minor tweeks on each bag.

It's one of the reasons why Tom and I don't really like reviews of our bags.

That's not a question that anybody who loves to make things would ever need to ask.

I think a better question would be why would you ever be 100% happy with anything?

If you're not growing - you're dead.

It's more like at the time, you're really happy with it and you think it's the best ever. Then you discover something new and realize how much better it could be. By that point, you realize the failings of previous versions and strive to make a better product.

You're not a very good stitcher if you aren't constantly exploring new facets of playability. Look at the numerous incarnations of footfighters.

it all depends on what type of bags u like if u like heavy semi flopy bags go with tom if u like a broken in mini go with peng. personaly i like the peng bags better for setting and i like the moshers for osis and stuff like that.

these bags are pretty sweet, they're about the same size but they have a perfect weight (Tom's a bit heavier), also the filler is great, they're not really broken in yet but they rock! fortunantely i was surprised and got a peng and a mosher (yay for birthdays!) but other wise do the coin flip lol
