I figure this is goodbye to footbag

Post by Nogbad »

Well, two day ago, I found out that due to injuries I sustained to my knee and ankle, any playing of footbag will be very hard indeed. The Doctor said more or less that if I planned to play this any longer, it would require me to more or less start from scartch and reteach myself everything at a slow and controlled pace. I've stayed away from modified since I heard this news as reading about footbag seems only to depress me emensely.

I guess more or less I wished to say goodbye to footbag and to those I met through modified, it's been real.

:( Why don't you give the reteaching yourself a chance?

You're 18 dude. You have your whole life to play footbag. Slow and steady rocks cuz it still means you'll be a pro by the time you get older

Yeah, health before anything. If you're still very dedicated to footbag, it doesn't hurt to reteach yourself everything there is in terms of the sport. It's best to try than not try at all.

Don't quit! If you get good again it'll be like the Def leppard drummer or something. Well, if you lost your leg maybe. Still don't quit. Damn, if I ever lose my leg I'm going to try to foot bag still. i'll be superuber
