footbag "shape" (physical body speaking)

Post by andr00 »

did you develop a footbagging shape or was it more because you were in shape that you took quickly to footbag? i could lose maybe 5-8 pounds and then i'd be in good bag shape without being hindered. how about ya'll?

I would have to totally disagree. If anything I think footbag, except in the case of a few players, results in a reduced leg size.

when I say ripped, I mean chizzled... you're totaly right that Footbag scorches every bit of anything-non-muscle off them; probably making them smaller, yes.

I totally disagree. Spot reduction of fat is a myth. Just like doing a 1000 situps a day wont target fat removal in your stomach using your legs does not target leg fat. Your body sheds fat as a whole when your expend more calories per day then you take in. Just go to a tourney and look at a number of players legs (well not jordens or vaseks :p) but most regular players, they all have what I call "chicken leg syndrom".

I feel like my legs have become very defined and chiseled by playing footbag.

Footbag definitely got me into shape (again). It began about one month after I began really practising it daily when I looked at my legs and I realized that I got a few muscles where I didn't have much anymore before...I used to be an Agressive Inline Skater what I quit because there was no decent place to skate anymore and I was still too young then to travel around on my own - I used to have a lot of muscles because Inline Skating really is an exhausting sport...

I've always been rather well-built though a bit broad (? Can I say that in this context of describing my physical body shape ?)...I've always had good preconditions for a small Bodybuilder or something like that  - just small but broad and definitely not fat.
Footbag got me into shape both my appearance and also my "fitness"...I wasn't able to do long runs before but I can shred like crazy more and more with the Sessions

All I can say that I just love footbag because I never had so much fun with a sport while working out and getting in shape at the same time :D

Yap you're right  So here a pic of my legs 8) A bit strange to take a picture of your own legs and put it on the internet but I never said that I am normal anyway

I did the exact same thing. In fact I might still be skating and not playing footbag if the only park around didn't close. Skating definitly built my leg muscles.

Footbag hasn't decreased my muscle size at all. If anything it has built it up some. I kinda wish it would shrink my calves a bit, they get in the way sometimes.

There, Julian, now you're not alone in the wierdness.

EDIT: Oh and by the way, it's a birthmark. Everyone always asks.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

Exactly the same reason why I quit...If the park which was about 1 kilometre away from my place wouldn't have been closed I might be a real crazy skater now...or already disabled because that sport is very very dangerous - no cup and jumping with spread legs on an iron "rail" is just bound to a high risk of hurting your balls 8O etc....Still I miss it sometimes if I wouldn't have discovered footbag I might still be skating now (again)

I don't play enough footbag (of any kind) to keep me in shape. I've got big feaking calves, though.
