Lost theories

for anyone who watches Lost.
what do you think is going on in this show?
I am starting to think that its all going nowhere, and the writers dont have a plan to bring it all together.

It sure seems that way, right?
Every week I tell myself, "just wait for the next episode, THEN I'll get all of those answers I've been looking for."
The last few have been pretty tight with all of the Henry Gale drama, and the preview made it look like that story arc will be coming to a close soon.

I guess I'll just have to wait until next week.

The producers of the show have catagorically ruled out anything along the lines of 'dream sequence' or 'purgatory'.

I liked last night's episode. It's good that they're finally showing new episodes for several consecutive weeks.

Purgatory and "dream sequence" are two very different things. In what ways do you think they've ruled out purgatory?
