This website is not fully designed yet, but will be soon. For now all the basic information for players are online. The site will be updated on a regular basis so stay tuned for more news and info.

you should make footbag.org/worlds2006 redirect there. Why not just host it on .org though? Whatever, be a rebel. :lol:

That website is so slick!

Hey I am trying to figure out how much it would cost me to go for germany for 9 days at worlds and fly back. I live in New york state, USA. I'm looking for how much it will cost approximately in USD. I really want to attend this year, and I may just have the money. Also how far in advance would I have to buy my plane tickets and book my room?

@will
i doubt that we will run out of sleeping space for players, don't worry about that.
you should pm max kerkhoff, he did an approx calculation about the possible costs of one week worlds, can't find it right now tho.
book your flight early and take the post-worlds-week in berlin into consideration!

Thanks for the help guys, now I just have to rake in some money and get my passport.

Are there any German's or other footbaggers staying in a hostel? Maybe I could get some floor space.

i think the 5euros per night (6$) class room floor space is hard to beat. so i wouldn't expect many to stay in hostels or hotels....

In the "Worlds Accommodation" thread it was said that the "non-footbaggers accompanied by players" can sleep at this school. Well, I'm a footbagger and plan to shred a lot in Frankfurt but I'm not sure if I'll compete*. How do I pay the stay at the school?
I mean do I have to do it in the registration website or can I pay it there in Frankfurt? (I hope the latter is possible because I don't have the possibility to use a credit card.)

Is it possible to join IFPA at the Worlds? I'd really like to join but again: no credit card, can't do it online. :(

*I won't probably compete because I've already competed in intermediate before but I don't think I'm really open level yet. (Although last year at least the top5 of the intermediate finalists were in my opinion "too good" for intermediate, I don't think I'll compete in intermediate anymore. I would lose to these '05 intermediate finalists though. :) )

lauri, sure you can register in frankfurt (ifpa, shred30 etc.), altho we hope everyone is registering online due to the massive time and effort.
it is possible to sleep in the school w/out competing.
