Promoting footbag.

Post by Lee »

So in Tennessee, we have a pavilion in our mall. I'm wanting to set some footbags and pamphlets out and promote footbag.

I've seen some videos and they seem to have boatloads of footbags and little pamphlets and I was wondering if I need to get these on my own, or can I purchase them from someone.

talk to daryl genz/freedomfootbags.com. He could hook you up with the freedom footbag flyer which is a good promotional tool for beginners. Also, if you want to buy tons 'o bags, freedom footbags is the way to go :D

i talked with lee, and i may be making some of those freebie bags. they wont be for ppl that already know about footbag. you have to be completely oblivious to footbag. thats what promoting the sport is. and it should be IN PERSON that we would hand out bags. so, sorry. ill make you one (when its time to make them) for a few bucks covering shipping, and expenses. just pm me.. and we'll talk.

Yeah. Genzu Blades is cool, just call him on the phone and ask for some o' those Mr.sandbag flyers. Theyll get some people hooked for sure. Maybe you should try and get a bunch of 4 panels and give them away free, then have some 12's or 32's and sell them for 2-5 bucks. Get some good shredders there too.

Well, I don't know many really good shredders that live in my area.
And as for the bags and flyers and such, I don't have a whole lot of money to sit there and buy bags and sell them for a lower price.
And I doubt that people would buy a $30 32-panel their first time.
Are the pamphlets free or will there be a small fee to get them.

well, lately, just by accident i've converted two of my hacker friends into footbaggers. For the one, me and my friend just said the real names of tricks, and when he asked wtf we were talking about, we said they were the real names and told him to go to flipsider. he's now going to get lavers and start playing in shorts. my other friend saw one of his counselers at snowboard school play over the winter, and now that i play like that, he's more interested. i'm pushing him to get g-units  . that's 3 more for the footbag community :D

Everyone who uses peer to peer file sharing programs, should share their favourite (non copyrighted) footbag video so newbies can download and if a few people get interested then that would be good. :D
