I'm about to start trading/selling my bags and have no idea about how things work, but after speaking to diffrent people everyone has a diffrent idea....
Some people are willing to pay for test bags, some arn't, some want to trade etc and i think there needs to be an etiquette that everyone can go by..
Like if someone tests a bag for free do they give it back after a month? do they keep it, but then if they keep it you've paid for materials and put the stiching time in so surly a same charge would be ok (like if you made 5 test bags for $10)
When it comes to trading do you send first? do they? The same with selling, do you wait for money, then send? do you make first then show them? what if you make the bag then they don't want it?
Also when you buy a bag, what if it breaks during postage, whos in the wrong? should you get your money back? should they send you another one, its neither persons fault
I know most people on here are super honest and trusting but ov your gonna get the odd 1 or 2 people who will abuse the system...
Any thoughts on the matter would be great, beacuse I want to be as fair as possabile.....

No one abuses the system because it's a trust thing

I think the best thing to do is a bag to an experienced kicker. Even better if they are also a good sticher so they know what to look for. I feel that these bags should be sent away at no cost to the tester. They will put the time into testing it and telling you (and the rest of us if you ask them to) how the bag played and what you could do better.

Trading:
Only send when both bags (theres & yours) are made and send at the same time
Selling:
The bag should be made first before payment is sent/ transacted (via paypal or something) but i got no problem with the person not wanting the bag when it's made becuase you can always sell it on or trade it or keep it (after all you can never have enough footbags lol)
Buying:
I personnaly wouldn't back out of buying if i saw the bag and would prefere so use paypal or somthing (being in uk its eaiser), also i would like the bag to be sent same day as cash

This is where I get confused lol I'm a pretty confident sticher and lets be honest its not really an "choir" to test a bag its more fun so what i would like to do is trade test bags etc with fellow up & coming stichers so not only are your trading bags but your also testing for them too so everyone wins
(also i have no problem sending bags to v experianced players who don't stich)

I usually send or give tester bags to people I know and trust, especially when I've met them at a footbag tournament. These people are also experienced players in the sport, and sometimes experienced stitchers.
If there's a trade, I'll trade. If they want to buy a bag from me, then that applies as well. I try to put a lot of dedication in my stitching. If ever I make a bad bag, that person must notify me ASAP, I believe, so that I can sort out the problem. If I can't repair it, I stitch them a new bag.

All you need now is to set up a "wasabi customer care line" were people can call you up and ask you stupid questions like
"My cats eating my footbag" or
"I was up a ladder washing a window, when i fell and landed on my footbag, and it seemed to insert into my ........... well you can figure that out

in my expierences,
trading can be done at one time, even if not sent at the same time. people on fizzied should be trust worthy enough to ship a bag as soon as they can in a trade. like the more expierenced a stitcher, a longer wait (orders come first) should be expected to recieve your bag
testing should be offered to select people. usually a stitcher with a good rep can do both, telling you about your flaws/good sides to your footbag/stitching
or they can tell you "your fill is rolly, try...."
but that dosent mean advanced players cant test. id say if the person can hit a 5 add, or a good genuine guiltless string, they shuld be able to say great or not great bag.
(i make my testers pay for shipping, so its almost no cost to them, and if they dont get back to me (like a few have) then im out nothing but a bag.
with selling, id wait a while. after you get trading and tessting done is the time for selling. im about to start selling actually....

edit: thats why it is best to just trade to a stitcher on your level, or same time stitching, and compare. get better by critiqueing eachothers latest creation.
once youve made enough bags, more popular stitchers, or someone who likes your bags,will hit you with a buying or trading option. take it no matter what.
consider the entire time; you ve always got a new footbag made by yourself. (until you ship them away)
so never turn down a trade.
plus, you get free footbags from everytrade.
plus, one day, you will be able to trade with pros no prob, and youll gain a rep thats good and dependable.
ive only kept 4 of my footbags ive made, and now im past the 50 bag mark. ive got my first,3rd, 45th (best) and always the latest one(that i still havent shipped yet)
