Replacing filler

Can anyone tell me the best method (if there is one) for replacing filler in a bag? I'm affraid of doing it wrong and ruining a perfectly good footbag.

I heard that you can put a sharpened straw in the corner of a pent, and then widen the whole and do it. I'm not sure how well it works though.

I posted this on .org awhile ago, but here's what you do to empty the bag:

1. Get a straw. You may want to cut the straw so it's about 4-5" long.
2. Look for a bleed hole. A bleed hole is where 2 hexagons meet. None of these edges are ever stitched on a hand-made 32 for the reason of customizing fill amount to your preference.
3. Depending on how tight the bleed hole is, you may or may not want to cut a vertical 1" slit in the straw to make it fit inside the bleed hole. Once it's in, you can poke the straw around the inside of the bag which will fill up the straw. The straw can be emptied by tiliting it downwards for stuff will come out.
4. I suggest keeping the filler because over time, bags lose filler and you may want that left-over filler back in your bag.
5. Do this until you're satisfied with the weight and feel of the filler inside the footbag. Massage the bag to close the bleed hole.
6. You can also fill bags back up using the straw to put stuff in.
