I can understand the feelings of the people that have left and those that are feeling negative towards modified lately..
I was feeling kinda negative myself actually. I think Ive moved on from those feelings though, how could I ever feel negative towards my one delicate link to all the coolest people in the world???
Modified gives us this amazing chance to share and talk and befriend all these amazing people that otherwise we would never know.
I love modified!

I have semi-quit modified because I''ve totally quit playng footbag. Back problems have kept me from playing more than once in the last year (CSS7), so I've pretty much accepted that my footbag playing career has come to an end. Now I spend all my footbag time on flair bartending practice and the websites that pertain to it. The funny thing is that I've made more money in one year of teaching and competing in Flair Bartending than I ever did in 10 years of playing footbag. Of course I was never in footbag for money, just love.
My heart and soul are still with footbag and I plan to help Stephen when CSS8 comes around and hang out with "the coolest people in the world."

I misread that the 1st time. I thought it read Flail Bartending! That would be pretty cool to hit some flails with a Martini, to shake it up.Splint wrote:Now I spend all my footbag time on flair bartending practice and the websites that pertain to it. I've made more money on one day at a minumum wage job, than I have playing footbag!

Ohhhhhhh I see. You're original point was fairly ambiguous. I thought it couldve meant: You made alot playing footbag but much more bartending, or there's no money in playing footbag, or theres not much money in either, or that you're not good at bartending and you find it funny that you made more money doing that than playing footbag.Splint wrote:Duh. The point is that I made the money doing something that I really love, not scooping shit for a temp agency.
Thanks for clearing that up for me.

Your next task: Go to the bathroom.
Wash your face.
Put your shoulders hunched upwards.
Look really, really slowly upwards towards the mirror like in the movies
And slap yourself in the face.
With your game face on.
And go shred with jim.
It'll work, trust me.
