I was wondering if you guys could help me. I'm not looking for more routine music, or help on planning out my routine, or even what people do during routines to make judges happy. I need to know how many songs you use in a year, or a specific timespan, or from one competition to another. To illustrate what I mean a little better, here are some things that I've been thinking about now that more comps seem to take the routines into consideration:
1) Do you have some songs that you use as back up or seeding songs so that you don't use your best material during the semi finals?
2) Do you keep the songs all year, or switch them from event to event?
3) If you do switch your songs, and you do have a back up song or two and the final song, which ones do you change? Is it just the final song, or do you generally have a back up song that you switch up? Or do you keep the back up song, and switch the final song for variety?
4) Does the size of the event influence your descision to change your songs?
5) Is it frowned upon if you place in a competition with a certain song, then you do the same song the next year to enter again? Or even from one big event to another...(as an example) form Euro's to World's, you would keep the same song, or change it up?
A lot of these questions stem from the me not being that great on the routine experiance and proper song picking policies. Anyway, if any of you experianced routiner shredders can help me out, I'd be very happy.

At this year's Worlds finals Vasek used Hernndo's Hideaway, a song he's used many times in the past. At this year's finals in Euros I'm pretty sure he used a 2min mix done by "Prague's Best DJ" (his words)....I know that Vasek used the same song for his final routines in Euros and Worlds
Unless that was semis but I'm near certain that it was finals.

Routine music needs a change. I usually am not blown away by routines. Although I could be if the music was more awe striking.
I'm hoping to awe people with a routine of mine some day.
Music is more amazing than footbag. So the music is more important than the tricks one hits while it's playing.

It's a footbag competition, not a music taste competition...
