So, I've had the same problem with a few bags I've made now, I finish it up and it looks good but after I start breaking it in one or two pents look/are way bigger than the rest. I've tried pulling the thread tighter at the hex-hex and tying a knot around the loop but it seems to slip off, I'm thinking if I do that and superglue the knot it might stay, thought I'd see if anyone knows a better way first though.
anybody know a good way to fix this? If it's unclear what I'm asking I can post a pic as well.
Any way to repair loose gather? (One or two BIG pents..)

Do you tie the start and end of your thread together when you finish a pent? or do you just tie it to the facile? If you tie the thread together you can just reach through the bleed holes with some tweezers to grab the original knot and add another to it. I haven't tried it though, i usually just cut it and do another blind stitch.

I'm thinking about something... and there is a very high chance it has something to do with footbag.

I tie the start and end together. Sam told me the method I was thinking about, with the exception that after you pull out the loop of slack, you slip a new piece of thread through the loop and knot it up, seems to have done the trick, I think i'm going to start touching a little bit of superglue on my knots from now on to avoid this problem.
