Suede on Suede or Viynl on Suede?

Post by Z on the rocks »

Within my neighborhood circle of footbaggers we had a debate on who had the best shoes for footbag. I have a pair of Etnies Callicut that are black suede and my friend has a pair of Etnies Callicut that are white viynl. Though ata first we didn't think anything of it other than the fact that they were the same model of shoe. Then our other friend pondered the idea of suede on suede (or footbags or made of a some type of suede) or viynl on suede. He says that the suede shoes might give that player more traction and control, but he also feels that it may get stuck on the shoe to easily. On the other hand he feels that the viynl shoes would make the bag slide more but would let him hit it harder and reduce unwanted friction.

Here are pictures of our shoes.

His : http://www.etniesmusic.com/footwear/men ... ack-black/

So which is it? Suede on Suede or Viynl on Suede?

that's exactly what we want ... so id pick the suede on suede ... + i dont like white skate shoes, IMO a skate shoe must be black without details ...

+ the vinyl is prolly thinker than suede, so, youll have more control with the suede

suede - 2
vinyl - 0

Lavers, buy them here: www.worldfootbag.com

It always strikes me as weird how people resist lavers at first. Even I did it when I first started. Not saying you will, just sayin.

Well, if you're going to start without Lavers, get some China-modeled Laver clone (NOT Chuck Taylors) and mod those for playing at least.
