I found this topic on a yoyo forum I also frequent.

I found it interesting how much knowledge they actually have about our sport.

What I liked about that forum was that people actually apologized to each other if they were being dicks. Would be nice to see that here once in a while.

Le sigh. Even topics about footbag in other forums cause kickers to argue. The community needs to lighten up and have some fun again.

Can't agree more. I was sorta into the whole yo-yo deal in 6th grade.. but quickly fell out of that, and into Pokemon, lol.

Anyway, I've been trying to register at that forum, but account activation isn't being sent to my e-mail.

But I'll see if I can't e-mail an Admin there to see if we can't manually register me.

But yes, this thread makes me have warm feelings inside.

so wierd, yoyo has so much in common with footbag,

...there was a yoyo worlds vid i saw on youtube and some kid was like "this is a $400 yo-yo" and throws it at the wall.

the forum reminds me so much of modified!

I'd take up yoyo but im not willing to spend 40 bucks or 400 on a decent one. Only for footbag. The cheap yoyos piss me off. Is there any good priced ones for doing tricks with?

I was pretty into Yoyo for a while. I used a Footbag made by Duncan I think. Firestorm Wing. It was ok for a beginner. I dunno what's out there now, but that one cost about 10 bucks.
