What shoes to buy? (non-Lavers)

Post by Caleb »

Well I've never owned, nor had any desire to own a footbag shoe other than Lavers. But recently, I've been looking for a change. I've never paid much attention to all the reviews and posts about shoes. Climas, G-units, etc. So in a nutshell, what's good? What should I buy? I guess at this point cushion/support is the most important thing to me.

And keep in mind, I've had nothing but that amazing lavers toebox for 6 years so don't flip my world upside-down.

I just switched to the mesh gunits, I'd say they are probably the easiest shoe to switch to from lavers. The surfaces are almost the same, you just gain cushioning and grip.

The only downside is they only come in camo, but that can be cool too if you work it right.

Cushion and support, give some G-units a try. I'll mod'm up for you and make a special trip to Pitt for ya  Leathers are pretty easy to find, give ebay a try. Oh yeah, if you get them, remember to half or full size down. I wear lavers in 8.5 - 9. I wear G6's in 8's.

ive got some leather gunits that i bought off ebay and they kick ass!

also if you want support, climas are nice. the only thing is they dont have a toe box and you have to find a sweet spot. climas might not be your best choice for winter, considering they are made out of all mesh.

modding guintsw is easy.
