Hola Modified!!!

Post by OCconfidential »

Okay, 2nd post (love this site!) and i already need help. i've been stitching for about a month now, and i'm pretty good. i use floss, and here's my prob. i can't get my blind stich knot (the final one. the tie-off.) to disappear! i'm gonna explain in the most simple way i can, maybe one of you stiching gods (did i say gods? i meant dudes) can help me.

On my last blind stitch, my needle comes out the hex. i then make another stitch in the PENT, as if i'm going to keep blind stitching. but this stitch is really close to the one coming out the hex, so it goes into the bag easier. i then pull the thread until there's only a little bit left to pull through, and i loop my needle through it a couple of times. after that, i stitch through the bag to the other side, pull the knot tight, and away goes the knot! UNTILLLLL, a couple hours later, when i'm shreddin ma new sack, i look and see the knot. how do i make it go away and never come back????! (thats what my girlfriend was thinking when she broke up with me, i'm sure of it now)

you might be stuffing the floss into the wrong hole... make sure you are stuffing it between hexes (in the bleed hole), and not between hexes and pents. sometimes your blind stitch can be tricky... ive spent almost 30 min trying to put one blind stitch up... then i had to get brian to do it cause i was so pissed.

stuff it into the bleed hole. dammit, i never thought about doing that, i just have to end my blind stitch AT the bleed hole. thanks, i'm halfway done with a Gecko bag. I'll try it on that. oh, but am i doing the knot right?
btw, i've mastered the blindstitch. all exept the knot part
