Templates

Ok i printed out a nice template, i was wondering what you guys put the template on to trace it onto the fabric. Do you just use printer paper or do you use something else. The ones i do i put onto the cardboard on the back of notebooks is this ok, it just seems that my template is usually alittle bit off when i do that, and also alittle bigger.
Did you ever try putting one on the aluminum from a soda can or something like that?

I just glue the template onto a notecard, and it works fine.

I just made a template out of a old credit card, and it is better than notecards. Its stiffer too, and easy to cut.

i cut the paper template out, lick it so its kinda sticky, then put it on a cd i dont want. i then trace it with sharpie onto the cd, peel off the paper, and cut it out with some sharp scissors (but dont cut it with your facile scissors, youll ruin them that way). i have a lot of these plastic templates around so i also write down the size on them so i dont get them mixed up. if one of the sides is uneven, then you can use a fingernail file to fine tune it.
