Hey, any non-collectors out there that would like to trade an old, beat lonn bag for a brand new MC bag?
I love lonn bags so much.
want to trade: new MC bag for old Lonns, even trashed ones!

I have three and might be willing to part with one. All three are kinda beat one has had pin holes from the first month i had it and i still haven't kicked it a lot everytime i do i find another hole in it. That one is my prize for winning east coast inter freestyle in 05 (I beat benny)
. The other two are really beat there both from new paltz (was that 04, i forgot) i still kick them when the holes are patched up so there not dead.
Matt, i might be willing to part with one for an MC bag but i have one question Will you be taking this bag to study lonns patern or is it just to collect? If it is to study here patern and take some of her style than i will trade with you but if it's just for you to keep in a vault and look at, than i would rather keep it. I gave my first lonn to Waylon for nothing and he studied it and his stiching has gotten so much better since then, if you did the same then i would love to give one to you. If this goes threw and i send you one than i want one of the new bags you stich after you study her pattern and change yours.

I think I have the first two Lewd bags that were based off of lons style.
They actually look pretty much(almost) the same but feel completly different because of the filler.
Since the bag looked so good Its been mounted on my dresser but me and Josh Raye have been really the only people to shred with it latly.
If you dont get your hands on the Lonn bag Matt I recomend the substitute bag from Way Way.

I love waylon's bags. They've been my choice session bags when I'm not using my own lately. However, I'm mostly making these posts for my interest as a collector (and not as someone in search of a particularly sweet playing bag), although drew's post has inspired me to make another set of templates in addition to my own, and to stitch with a different thread. basically, I'm going to do what I can to recreate lonn bags, so I can offer MC-style MC bags, as well as Lonn-style MC bags, if I'm able to recreate them well enough.
so, basically, I love waylon's bags, but right now I'm looking out for legit, actual lonn bags, not ones that play just like them.
and, thankfully, this post actually has yielded a lonn bag or two

I completely changed my filler compared to those I filled in your bags, Chris. I went back to basics and did standard fills, and I think they are now way more awesome than whatever the heck I was experimenting in the past.
Matt, I can give you all of my insight on what I've learned about Lonn's stitching. If you can find a really thin type of floss, I think it's doable. I asked Ben Roscoe for his rib-stitch cord, which behaves like floss but is much much thinner, and I think that could be adequate for me. I always found a lot of trouble using regular thread to sew, but that's just me.
Drew, about that Lonn bag you gave me: I finally repaired it tonight! I think it's gorgeous. We should kick with it sometime soon.
PS: I'm not parting with this Lonn bag. NO.
