CONGRATULATIONS JORDEN MOIR

Post by Splint »

For coming in 1st Place at Todexon in the Open Freestyle Routine. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the 1st time Vasek has been beaten since he took his first Worlds title?

Great choice of tricks on Sick 3 also.

Yeh, pretty cool to win such a historically hardcore European-dominated competition. Some of the toughest comp in Europe i guess!

Wasn't that because of a cramp or something? Does anyone else think vaseks routine was better and he would have won if only it'd been the full 2 minutes?

Well, he rolled his ankle in a session before. I myself found jordens routine better, nice song, very powerful, good variations. though vasek had higher difficulty i think. To me it looked like vasek stopped after dropping whirr instead of going on. istill think jorden had won even if vasek went on.

Heey! :)

Hehe thanks for the props. I hope everyone realises that it doesn't really mean that much...although it was a great thrill for me cuz I've never won the routines event before.

Glad you guys enjoyed my finals routine. Vasek's was definitely a lot more/better planned though.

In regards to the 1 1/2 minutes thing -- anyone notice Vasek's song has a very distinct ending at 1 1/2 minutes? So like, even if he wanted to, he couldn't really keep going beyond that. Weird.

I have mad respect for Vasek's game, especially if he was slightly injured during the performance (dunno if this true). His left ankle did seem a little stiff after rewatching the vid...

All I know is that I learned a tremendous amount from watching him play.
Anyway, Worlds should be fun...and interesting.

Cheers, and thanks again.

Yeah, Worlds is going to be VERY interesting. The competition from top to bottom is going to be quite fierce.

Big props J, even if Vadka was slightly under par for his game, you still had to be prepared enough to beat him and everyone else that was there. Now you've beaten him in 2 events. Way to step up!

Oh, almost forgot...AWESOME routine man! Very well planned, loved the frigidoses, the double spinning clipper and the double spinning osis in there toward the end. You had a ton of cool concepts packed in there, great flow, and excellent overall presentation. First place was well-deserved.

I was messing around on YouTube today I found that Jorden's Massive Tricks video (the one with Gyro Triage, Furious Merlin and and all that jazz) has over 31,000 views and 78 comments.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A72jSPEtOJI

If you search for "Hacky Sack", "Hackysack", or "Footbag" on YouTube it's the 2nd or 3rd video to come up only after the stupid but hilarious adultswim.com extreme hackysack video. It is THE MOST viewed "hackysack" and "footbag" videon YouTube aside from the adultswim vid. (but if you search "hackeysack" you get an awesome array of terrible hack videos and no shred)

So congratulations to Jorden on that as well!! :P

Actually, I believe http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7T8DR9pLIs is still the most viewed, but Jorden will pass it soon enough. Youtube has HUGE potential for promoting the sport, and Jorden is huge for producing fantastic youtube content (and all that other stuff he does I guess).
