I'm interested to find out, what moves do you use as bails? Do you prefer any particular bails over other bails?
For me it's pixie legover and smear + the tiltless moves.
What are your bail moves?

Nemesis, whirlygig, pdx barroque... backside plasma occasionsally... sometimes I'll even bail to a 5 like stampede or something. But you know, I try to keep it godly when I can.

Spinning clipper is the #1, next to osis, but osis isn't a bail because it's so cool. I very rarely do osis>butterfly or pdx mirage. I like to keep my shred genuine with neat links as much as possible. Way cooler than going long with lot's of bails in my opinion.
Also, drifters and whirls, I feel I do them too much when I'm not sure what to hit. PDX owns. Pdx whirl feels like a bail to me.
And I find I get into patterns sometimes, like always stepping out of whirls or spinning out of drifters, does anyone else have any link habits?
To comment on Janis' bails, I don't find smear a bail at all! It's hard. And surprisingly still looks cool after all these years.

do you really bail to that?
I'm a little unclear what you mean by "bail" moves. Do you mean moves that I hit when I'm going for something else, but don't get it right, and bail to something easier, or do you mean just easy moves that I hit a lot?
For example symposium mirage is a really easy move for me. I am sure I could hit that out of any move that I can hit without any trouble at all. In fact if I hit the first move, I would be 99% sure I'd hit the symposium mirage. That said, I never "bail" to symposium mirage. Whenever I hit a symp mirage, it's because I was actually planning on hitting that move.
On the other hand, when I'm going for a hard move like furious dlo, I'll often bail to a mirage at the end, instead of a dlo. Does that make "fury" a bail for me?
When I read through other people's answers, it seems like there is a difference in definition of what "bail" means.
For me, what I bail to really depends on what I was going to try to hit and where the set goes.
