Templates

Post by sanuke okumatzu »

Just curious about how people go about doing this. What dimensions do you prefer, what material do you use for your templates. Any and everything 'bout them.

I for one get tired of having to make templates every few bags, I use the plastic off 5-star notebooks...but it's hard to get an even edge on them. Being overly OCD I can't stand inaccuracies in my templates. Perhaps some-one out there could start making metal templates ?

there are a few people who can make metal templates... its in some other templates thread.

i have copper templates. cut from sheets of copper. printed from the template generator.

i wont say my demensions, because alot of bags look too similar now. so make up some new ones you likie!

just glue on your template (the print off), and use tin snips on a sheet of whatever. file down the edges to get it right, and to make them not sharp.
the end.

if you eat delicious stouffer t.v. dinners then when you are done with that rinse out the container which is made of black plasticy stuff and use that to make templates. i did this and still have used the same template for almost a year.
