Footfighter + Abshire bag weights?

Post by Muffinman »

Does anybody know?
I think I want to buy one of each from Freedom, but I couldn't see any specifications of the bags. I think I like a 50-ish-gram bag (but I don't really know...). Does anybody know the weights (and sizes) of the following bags?:

Footfighter mini
Footfighter regular
Abshire mini
Abshire regular

Thank you.

I'd say my Abshire regular is around 35g, too light for my tastes.

abshire will make you a bag to whatever weight and size you want. ive heard he likes light bags (oldschool maybe?) but he uses tungsten (i think) and the bags i have are decent weight (up to 55gs). the bags i have are higher gather and take longer to break in... but ive come to see some really old abshires that are still alive. ive seen a 5 year old abshire at southeasterns last year that had one hole that was patched up... and it was in a circle.

i dont have a footfighter mini. i guess mines just a normal sized one. its really light... so i like using it for sock/barefoot footbagging. i wish footfighter would have an option of lead filler... because that would make it perfect.

i like having a variety of bags. and i like making a variety of bags. i use holly bags for my main shred bag... but playing with those other ones are fun too. ive heard some people say that abshires and footfighters are getting "outdated" but we wouldnt have what we have now without abshire and footfighter. theres a reason why there are so many stitchers... its because everyone likes something different.

maybe that was rambling. but it might be useful

I used to always preffer heavier bags, but Tiashi had an uber light Abshire mini (classic, not A910) (like, 30-35 grams) and it's one of my favorite bags that I ever shred with. It floated around giving you huge amounts of time for double dexes and stuff. Great bag...

Generally I would go for a heavier bag (45-55), but that one was sick.

You talking about that crazy empty light bag he had at Funtastiks?

I use 40 grams as a standard for general use and long life. I like 55-57 grams in my personals. The new players might not be ready for that weight yet. The bleed holes allow for filler to be added or taken out for just the right feel. Custom order through me and I can make the bag any weight you want. Thanks for the feedback. Richard Abshire
