Every single bag I've owned that has broken in to the point of being sweet for shredding either has holes or got them right around that point.
The good news is that holes are not a big deal if you use patching tape!!
Seriously! There really isn't any point in crying over a hole, or with slopping goopy gloopy glue to fix holes, with patching tape holes of ANY size basically disappear forever with just a few snips to size the piece and careful application.
Also, dark bags gain visibility when they start getting patches!
To prove my point that patching tape works, the bag that Vasek won like a gajillion world's with was a Felix that every single pentagon and much of the hexagons were entirely covered in patching tape.
Oh yeah, and people REALLY need to keep their bags clean!!! I have no sympathy for people who complain that their bags are stiff and sucky when it's their own damn fault because they don't clean them enough. If you are totally lazy and don't want to handwash your bags you can just put them through with your laundry in a sock or a pocket. I actually do this most of the time.
So there you go, nobody gets to complain ever again.
Hope this helps.
