Attention to all registered players in singles or doubles freestyle at the 2007 IFPA World Footbag Championships. The following are important
instructions regarding your routine music at the check-in:
You *must* bring the music for your routine(s) with you when you check in at the registration desk (see schedule for exact check-in times).
The music *must* be in one of the following formats:
- Mp3 file(s)
- CD Audio (WAV)
******************************************************
Important: Any other file format won't be accepted or supported!
******************************************************
Please understand that, just after check-in, you will be required to stay in the lobby and meet with a volunteer music coordinator who will import your music into the music system right there, while you wait! He or she will validate with you that the correct song(s) have been selected.
In order to gain time at check-in, it is suggested to bring your music in mp3 format on a CD, or USB thumb drive. Minimizing the content of the CD or USB thumb drive to only the routine music will help the volunteer and speed things up for everyone!
If possible, you can fill this form in advance and bring it with you, the form can be found here: http://www.footbag.org/ifpa/groups/worl ... -sheet.pdf
So for check in, have a CD or USB thumb drive with either the Audio track (regular CD), or the desired song(s) in mp3. If using a CD Audio, expect to wait 5 minutes for the track to be encoded into mp3 format to make sure it is correctly encoded.
By following all these steps, we should avoid any live problems
during player performances.
Thank you.
