Bioshock!

Post by Psilocybe »

I picked up the PC version of this game last night at midnight and I'm really impressed so far. The graphics are superb - especially all the water effects. The story is really, really great. It reminds me a lot of System Shock 2, for anyone who played that. Its half FPS, thirty percent RPG, and twenty percent thriller. Kickass combination.

If you have a decently fast PC, or an xbox 360 do yourself a favor and get Bioshock! This is definitely the best game in a long while.

It's been getting near perfect, if not perfect, scores for the 360.

I've been following this game for a long time now. I want to play the demo before I buy it, I'm not sure if I like the atmosphere of the game.

No, I don't play soccer. Yes, there are competitions. 4 years. Lots of practice.

Yeah awesome game. It only came out today in Australia, I bought it at 10, and have been playing for most of the day. I had to stop briefly to go to football training for the law faculty vs engineering faculty footy game next week (I'm playing for law), but apart from that I've been pumping it.

Finally a game that actually uses the power of my new comp (QC 6600, 2gb ram, 2x Geforce 8800 gts). It was annoying that I had to change the anti-aliasing setting on the graphics control panel to over-ride, since there doesn't seem to be any in the game, and if I wanted to play pipe dream, I'd probably play pipe dream - but apart from those small gripes, it's fucking awesome.

I'm well into the Neptune Bounty area of the game now (playing on medium difficulty). Definitely going to be one of the best games to come out this calendar year.
