I got my first Joshua Raye bag last Thursday from FreedomFootbags, and at first I thought it was a little to empty, and light, but now it's getting broken in, and now its playing as good if not better than my Abshire. But my Abshire took almost a month to fully break in! It must be a combo of my new Quantum shoes and Joshua Raye bag, bc i am playing the best I have ever played. Does anyone else use a Joshua Bag? If so how do you like it...?

Josh is one of the the most underated stichers out there in the footbag world and Im happy someone likes his bags as much as I do.

My favorite bag so far has been an Amaretta bag I got from him.
51 grams of buttery goodness.

I got it at worlds as soon as I heard about them. The amount of gather Josh uses is perfect for ameretta and the fill is super fantastico for my preference.

Im planning on getting a mini from him in the future.

i got a red/whit one and a blue/gold one at worlds.. and i have hit so many more moves since. its an incredible bag. my only complaint.... the bleedholes on the red/white are HUGE.... its half empty now. the blue/gold is perfection, however =) where can i get my hands on a amaretta josh raye? i love that material.

for an amaretta bag, do i just send money, or what? also, how much are they? does refill/ repair cost anything? theres nothing actually "damaged" with the bag that needs reapir, but the holes are just too big. would a trade-in be possible? the bag itself is still pretty new.... just halfempty ; ) thanks alot!

Vasek's 282 point shred 30 was with a Jake Raye I use for all my competitions. He borrowed it off me for the preliminary shred 30.

It's the best ever.

I won it for 2nd place shred in Santa Cruz California Pajama Jam and the special ordered another duplicate with slightly variated dimensions but the same colors for competition.

How much are these Amaretto's?

Tungsten is just non toxic and way more dense then lead. I would go with Tungsten so you don't have to deal with the lead during washing

By far the most favorite Joshua Raye bag I have is an amaretta mini. I love it to no extent. I only have sessions with it under a blue moon, or when the constellations are at its astrological best. It is SO FREAKIN' GOOD.

Josh is a great stitcher. Somebody give him a lifetime supply of amaretta, ASAP!

edit: I don't know why, but I like the feel of amaretta bags with either steel or lead, but not Tungsten. Tungsten, because of it's density, makes bags really break-in and come floppy really quickly. To me, it's not ideal to have too floppy of a bag, and amaretta bags tend to go in that direction sometimes. Tungsten and facile is a choice combination, though, imho.

Unless, maybe, if you're handling a bag that is the size of an amaretta Fearless 55, but even this I'm a bit unsure. I've only seen this version of an abshire just only recently at GRASS a month back, from a fellow East Coaster, so I haven't yet critiqued it enough to give an opinion. It felt quite good, though.

I love my Joshua Raye bag. It appears as though my facile fearless 55 is coming closer to the end of its life so i usually only play with my JR bag. For some reason, I always seem to hit my new tricks with it, and its fun

But to sum it all up, Joshua Rayes are keepers
