I've been playing like mad since worlds. So, not surprisingly after a long 2.5 hour session last Saturday, I got home an couldn't hardly walk up the stairs in my house. The rear/outside of my knee hurt bad, but it only hurt walking up or down stairs.
So I did some research into the problem and it looks like it's Iliotibial Band Syndrome. Which is just an overuse problem. I'm an expert with these, I seem to get one twice a year on a different part of my legs.
I did stretches and iced and only had to take off 3 days before I could play again without pain. So, here's some info on the problem and ways to prevent/fix it, just in case anyone else is or will experience it in the future.
