amaretta=weak?
amaretta=weak?
so ive had an amaretta bag for about a week and a half now, and i havnt been toe scuffing it, and i washed it LOTS.... today im kicking it in my kitchen, and i do one of those desperate toe pop saves at legs length.... and "pop" goes one of the amaretta panels, and theres a huge hole in it now. i patched it w/ elmers stix all, but it looks ugly now. im just dissapointed it didnt last longer since i took good care of it. it was a abshie 55 amaretta, by the way. anyone else have experiences w/ weak amaretta?

Amaretta is weaker than facile.
Don't wash your bags so much, it weakens the fabric. Only wash them when they're dirty (because if they're dirty, the dirt frictionaficates [made up word] the panels and makes holes).
And Ben, Abshire doesn't mess up stitching.
And also, don't worry about how ugly your bag is. Pansy.

I wash my amaretta 55's about once every 5 or 6 sessions. Washing facile doesn't do that much harm to the bag, but amaretta seems to hate water and soap. The amaretta 55's that I am using are still going. One is on its third month. I have only washed it about 5 times in that time span. Hope this helps. If you want to send it back, I will fix the blow out. Richard Abshire

Amaretta bags should last WAY longer than that. I had an amaretta Lesh bag and it lasted me forever! I've had it since Feb of 06, and if I refilled it I could start using again!

washing your bag too much was definately the problem imo, washing the bag too much will ruit it, it makes the material weak making it more suseptable(sp) to wear and tear.

You got hole in the bag because you have lead filler in it. Bags should be washed frequently but they required different filler than heavy lead. Amaretta + lead is not a best choice.
Those bags have a different specs than facile and they require a different kind of treatment. For me much better than facile because of fast break in and softness.

Hey, he did say it was a Fearless55, Did he not? I think all the fearless55 are filled with Tungsten. I know the three I have are. But lead and Amaretta sounds like a bad idea anyways. I have been shredding with my fearless55 for about 2 1/2 months solid. At the least a hour a day with it. And it just now started to act funny. Every time i kick it, and not stall. I hear tungsten fly all over my tile floor. I may have to break out the back up.
EDIT EDIT: I found a hole in a blue panel of my fearless55. It was not a bleedhole like I thought. But I can patch it. I fell I have got my moneys worth from this bag. I did play with it alot and hard. I have had a problem before with Richards bags in the past. I was amazed that he fixed it right away. Becuase of that I have bought alot of bags from him. HE IS THE MAN!!!
