Aww, I was expecting an article or something.
I guess that's still neat. That's a hard crossword.

I didn't check the forum until today. I'm assuming the answer was "footbag" but can someone post what the prompt was?

Moxie, you are lazy.
But for you and all the others who were too lazy to look it up themselves the clue was something like-"a small bean filled bag that is kicked" and the answer was "hackysack"
It went with the theme of double h's.

Donald, you're a jerk.
I looked and didn't find it so I didn't want to waste half an hour on something you could tell me in 30 seconds.
SO sorry. :-)

I had to give my credit card information if I wanted to see it. Screw that. I figured someone would eventually say it over here. So yeah.

Moxie I was just trying to be funny.
I dont actually think you're lazy haha.
edit- the entire thread was supposed to be sarcastic actually. Like i was really excited over main stream footbag coverage in the NYT when it was really just a clue in the crossword that actually said hackysack.

That was disappointing. The thread title gave me the impression that it was "footbag" and not "hacky sack." Big difference in exposure there.

Dude the world knows the sport as hacky sack. DEAL WITH IT!!!!
In my opinion hacky sack(tm) sounds cooler anyway (so does frisbee).
Footbag sounds too much like football to me.
But this thread is not a rehash of footbag v. hackysack.
or is it? mwhahaha

hacky sack sounds more like a kiddy toy. Footbag sounds professional and legit.

He only has 12 or so posts. He'll learn to use the word "footbag" over "hacky sack" sooner or later, just like the rest of us did. :P

Funny how we all come to that. I still say hackeysack around my friends and such.

You're all a bunch of elitist "footbag" snobs.
I dream of a day when i can say hacky sack on this forum without living in fear of the "footbag" police.
Its not a bag. its a sack.
And yes we all know you use your foot to kick it, thats a little too on the nose. wouldnt you say?
come on people. It's not a sport. It's a game. a great game. A fun game. A game some of you people are extremely good at. But a sport? Nah. Sports are organized and lame.
hackysack say it with me now! HACKY SACK!

dude, call it what you want.. hacky sack ... kicki sack ... footbag .. kick bag ...
but going off and saying its not a sport is a very stupid thing to say
especially with all of the people in the world of footbag that work hard at it.
