Manna Mpepo clips (including first 6 add!)

Hey, here are a few clips I took of Hackrifice's prodigy, Manna Mpepo. Manna's been playing for less than a year and today he hit some stuff like
-phoenix BSOS (twice, starting on opposite feet)
-his first three triple dexes
-his first 6 add trick!

There's a Pixie DLO too, but it's taking forever to process on YouTube, so you can just hunt that one down if you feel like it.



EDIT: Ken -- it's cool. He's taking his time with guiltlessness and not rushing into it, which is good. He's working a lot of sets, like pixies, fairies, stepping all consistently both sides, atomics both sides, quantum; downtime tricks like drifters, whirls + rev whirls, swirls + rev swirls, DLOs, eggbeaters... He's got a good foundation and can lay down 30+ tiltless runs with lots of 3s and 4s. I think guiltlessness will find its way to him soon

Nice. I like the bothsidedness.

Constructive criticism: I'd rather see longer guiltless strings than bsos 5s which are linked with tilts.

In any case, given the amount of time Manna has been playing, his mentors, his fast progression and good form, I am confident he will become an elite player sooner than later.

The first link showed his rhythm little. I'd like to see a longer string on vid at his current stage of development, because it looks to me like he has "that thing" (that bounce and natural dance-like rhythm that really good players all have).

I also notice he has the basic dexes that many great players have. That really natural, bent leg, no wasted motion, style of mirage/legover/in-out dex motion (similar to Johnny Suderman).

no, i think it's more that he has that natural dance-like rhythm that white guys DON'T have. Given that i've never seen manna hit a clean paradon, i'm gonna have to call that locomotion the untill i see it in person (which should be next week!)

Surprisingly i loved far pick up most.Because the dex on it was really smooth and little,i need to work on my own pick ups to make them look like that.

nice moves buddy, I hope we can play some day! The video wasn't good on locomotion, but it looks like you've got the right idea - small set, tight last two dexes...

edit: ps: nasty most often means "good" in footbag, unless used in the ankle-twist sense
