Footbag invades the State Fair

Post by Darkshredder »

Hey guys!

summation:
who? RFA, KFM, NYFA, Buffalo crew, Canadians, PA'ers, anyone who wants to drive to Central New York.
what? Footbag being played at the Great NY State Fair
where? http://www.nysfair.org
why? Busking, chillin', shreddin' - - Wakahakee only more laid back 8O
when? August 21st - September 5th (more details below)

Just wanted to let anyone living around NY(state) that the Great New York State Fair starts tomorrow (the 21st) and goes until the 5th of September. Think of your local fair, county or whathaveyou, and quadruple it in size and absurd bums wandering around - there you have it. The Fair.

I usually go once or twice a year to shred. I've been going since before I could walk. But now footbag is a fun little activity to do in front of all those people.

So what I'm planning is a very VERY lax jam or three during this time. If anyone can make it to Syracuse, NY on a Friday, Saturday, Monday or Tuesday between now and the 5th, let me know with a PM OR

you can reach me by my cell phone: (315) 383-6119

possible attendees:
Doug Tank
Ian Phieffer
Mike Annello
Chris Dean
Paul Agostinelli
Josiah Digges

there WILL be crash space available if anyone is making a larger trip and wants a second day of fair shred.

 confirmations, pictures, secondary accomodations, and phone numbers will be added soon so if you're interested in this, keep checking back. Thanks!

More lax than Wakahakee? Be still my beating heart.

I doubt I can make it. As much as I want to kick it with the RFA, the trip is too far away and I've already made plans for Funtastiks, Hackrifice, and sleeping in the couches of Hunter college.

This just in!

The first two strikes will be held this Saturday and NEXT Friday after 3pm. I know Saturday may be short notice for anyone else besides the RFA but there are going to be more opportunities to do it!

oh and we definitely made more than six bucks. And think of what we can do with a poster and Matt Cross and Chris Dean! Think of the potential, friends!
